What to write about
- A missed detection. If PromptScrub failed to catch something it should have, tell us the shape of it, for example “a Stripe restricted key starting with rk_live_”. Please do not send us the real secret; describe the format instead, or replace the characters with dummy ones.
- A false positive. If something harmless was flagged, the same applies: send the pattern, not the private data.
- A new rule request. Tell us the service and the token format, and a link to the vendor's documentation if you have one.
- Bugs and accessibility issues. Include your browser and operating system so we can reproduce the problem.
- Press, licensing, or partnership enquiries.
A note on sending us sensitive data
Please do not email us real API keys, passwords, or personal information belonging to other people. We do not need them to help you, and email is not a secure channel. A description of the format is always enough.
